Glimcher Names Steve Bruch Vice President, Construction and Development
Columbus, OH - January 11, 2010 - Glimcher Realty Trust (NYSE: GRT) —
announced the appointment of Steve Bruch to Vice President, Construction and Development in January.
Bruch joined Glimcher in 1997 with the acquisition of the SuperMall of the Great Northwest in Seattle, Washington, and served as Senior Project Director for the development of Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth, New Jersey which opened in 1999. He was promoted to Senior Director of Development & Construction in 2006. Currently, Bruch is Vice President, Construction, and is responsible for managing the Development & Construction Department, as well as directing the development of the Scottsdale Quarter project in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Prior to joining Glimcher, Bruch held the positions of Development Director for the Hapsmith Company of Beverly Hills, California; Prime Group of Baltimore, Maryland; and Western Development in Washington, DC. Bruch’s professional background includes development of the SuperMall of the Great Northwest, the Sawgrass Mills super regional mall in Florida, and the roll out of the Retail Factory Outlet concepts for Prime Group. Bruch holds the designation of Construction & Design Professional (CDP) by the International Council of Shopping Centers.
